PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent refrigerant from flowing into a cabin due to damage of an evaporator or a pipe. SOLUTION: A solenoid valve 5 is disposed at the inlet of the evaporator 6, and a check valve 7 is disposed at the outlet of the evaporator 6. When an operation is terminated, the solenoid valve 5 is closed, and a compressor 1 is operated for a specified time to suck refrigerant in the evaporator 6 and collect to the downstream side of the check valve 7. When the operation is stopped, the check valve 7 prevents the refrigerant from reversely flowing into the evaporator 6. Thus, even if the evaporator 6 or the pipe disposed in the cabin is damaged, since the refrigerant is not left in the evaporator 6, a large volume refrigerant can be prevented from flowing from the evaporator 6 into the cabin to have serious effect on occupants in the cabin.
