PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antineoplastic medicinal composition having low adverse effect and high antineoplastic action. SOLUTION: This antineoplastic medicinal composition comprises a vanillyl fatty acid amide represented by formula (1) (wherein a COR group is a 14-32C saturated fatty acid residue or a 14-32C unsaturated fatty acid residue). According to the present invention, the antineoplastic medicinal composition containing the vanillyl fatty acid amide compound of a capsaicin-related component having low adverse effect and high antineoplastic action, particularly anti-melanoma action and anti-leukemia action and having extremely slight pungent taste, stimulative property and proinflammatory property is obtained.
