PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste decomposition apparatus allowing an easy maintenance of the stirrer. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a reservoir tank 1 reserving organic waste to ferment and decompose, a moving frame 6 capable of moving horizontally above the tank, a stirrer 7 mounted on the frame, scooping organic waste present in the front of motion and dropping the waste in the back of motion and a maintenance box 23 disposed adjacent to the stirrer on the back side of motion and forming a maintenance space 22 for the stirrer ranging from the upper end of the tank to the bottom wall 2.
