PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine by which an internal structure is simplified, and cost is reduced by connecting communication by the common usage of a single projection controller when optical communication is performed inside the game machine, including only one projection source, and reducing the number of components at a light projection side. SOLUTION: The game machine controls a plurality of peripheral apparatuses arranged in the game machine on the basis of a control signal which is outputted from a control circuit for controlling a game. The game machine includes: the single projection controller for receiving the control signal outputted from the control circuit, and projecting light which includes the control signal to a wide range; and a plurality of light reception controllers which are arranged in the wide projection range, so as to receive the control signal projected from the single projection controller, to specify the appropriate peripheral apparatus from address data of the received control signal, and to transmit control data.
