METHOD FOR EXTRACTING ACTIVE INGREDIENTS FROM PROPOLIS

PURPOSE: Provided are a method for extracting active ingredients from propolis and the use of the extract for beverages, foods and cosmetics by using its bioactivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting active ingredients from propolis comprises the steps of: pulverizing propolis and mixing it with 3 times of solvent; refluxing the mixture in 3 times at 70 deg.C for 3 hours to give extract; storing the extract at -20 deg.C for 3 days with filtering it at intervals of 12 hour; removing wax and the solvent from the filtrate.
