<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier capable of energetically releasing negative ions. <P>SOLUTION: This humidifier 1 comprises a humidifier body 2 having an inner container 3, a cover body 4, and a heater 11 (heating means). An exhaust part 20 having a suction port 21 and an exhaust port 13 communicating with the outside air is formed in the body cover 4. A communication tube 22 having a communication port 24 at one end communicating with the inner container 3 and a blowout port 25 at the other end communicating with the inside of the exhaust part 20 is provided. An ion generating part 6 for generating negative ions is installed between the side wall of the inner container 3 and the side wall of the humidifier body 2.
