<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell generator stabilizing operation of a fuel cell while reducing facility cost and maintenance cost, and to provide an operation control method. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell generator uses sewage gas (biogas) obtained from sludge, garbage, etc. through a methane fermentation treatment as a raw fuel, and generates electricity based on an electrochemical reaction of fuel gas obtained from the raw material through steam reforming in a reformer 3 and oxidant gas. The fuel cell generator comprises a gas mixing device, for example an ejector 66 for branching a predetermined amount of a portion of the biogas to outside of the system to mix with a predetermined amount of air, a burner, for example a catalyst burner 67 for burning the mixed gas adiabatically, and a supply flow rate calculation device 11 for obtaining a methane gas concentration in the biogas based on the correlation between an adiabatic burning temperature and a methane gas concentration in biogas which are previously obtained, for calculating a necessary supply rate of raw fuel and a necessary supply rate of steam for reforming based on the methane gas concentration, and for controlling the both supply rates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
