PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for adjusting a tensile force applied to an extended cloth roof. SOLUTION: The structure covered with a cloth used as a pavilion or a large-scaled tent is provided with a plurality of substantially vertical struts 12a to 12d connected to roof beams 14a to 14d for supporting a cloth roof 16. Both ends of each of the roof beams are fixed to the struts, respectively, and have hooks 22 for being attached to a cable or a rope 26 mounted on the peripheral part of the cloth roof by arranging it on the peripheral hem of the cloth roof or by the other means. Each of the roof beams is further provided with ends which are freely extensible by means of tension screws 30 so that the cable is kept in a strained state by extending the ends of the roof beams, and the cloth roof is kept in an extended state.
