PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a beat disturbance when video recorded in a hard disk is reproduced. SOLUTION: The device comprises: a channel selection and demodulation circuit 2 which receives television broadcast waves, selects a channel and demodulates; a hard disk 24 which records video information; a timing generating circuit 22 which detects a synchronous signal of an output video signal of the circuit 2 and sets a first period other than an available period of the video; a reproduction circuit 26 which reproduces information recorded in an IC card 23 which stores information stored in the hard disk 24; a control part 21 which limits operation of the reproduction circuit 26 to only within the first period; and a display 20 which displays the output video signal of the circuits 2 and 26.
