PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping device which has a simple structure and is manufactured at low cost, and capable of easily and tightly winding and wrapping a film around an outer periphery of a container. SOLUTION: A pair of folding members 24A and 24B are retractably disposed on both sides at the set position of a container P to/from a portion immediately below the container P. The folding members 24A and 24B are advanced to both lower portions of the container P while placing the film F on the container P so that both end portions thereof hang, and both end portions of the film F are turned in to wind and wrap the film F around the outer periphery of the container P. A belt 38 is disposed below both sides at the set position of the container P with an advancing space of the folding members 24A and 24B, and the film F is tensed by the belt 38 when both end portions of the film F are folded.
