PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact air conditioner capable of reducing energy required for air circulation and noise. SOLUTION: A separation means for water, a selection means 8 for switching between external air and circulating air, a filter 9, and a fan 20 for ventilation and air circulation in this air conditioner are all together arranged in a housing fixed to a bulkhead 5 partitioning an engine room 3 from a vehicle compartment 4.
