PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner with an ion generating device for blowing off ions corresponding to the number of various bacteria in a cabin. SOLUTION: This ion generating device 10 is arranged in an air blowing duct 12 for introducing air-conditioning air from an air-conditioning unit 100 to a side vent blowout port 11b. The ion generating device 10 generates a positive ion and a negative ion in a clean mode, and generates the negative ion in a refreshing mode. When inputting a fan ON signal to an ion control circuit 30, the ion generating device 10 is operated for a prescribed time in the clean mode, and is then operated in the refreshing mode.
