ACTIVE CARBON FOR CAPACITOR ELECTRODE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide active carbon which is industrially easily manufactured and exerts an excellent durability and a stably high capacitance as an electric double-layer capacitor electrode material, and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: Pitch with a crystallite thickness Lc (002) in c-axis direction of ≥5.0 nm, measured through X-ray diffraction, is successively subjected to carbonization treatment and activation treatment.
