<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driving torque and driving efficiency of a rotor by amplifying resistance difference between blades by providing the blades of the wind mill rotor with a flap, by increasing lift during super low speed driving, improving starting property and driving efficiency by preventing stall, and preventing breakage of the blades by suppressing excessive circumferential speed higher than required by braking by the resistance of the flaps in strong wind in a high speed wind mill, and by suppressing resistance by separation of flow along an outward warping surface by back flow of the flaps in a low speed wind mill that receives resistance of received wind on a blade wind receiving surface and resistance from the back side of the flaps. <P>SOLUTION: Each blade has the flap 3 that has an increment (0.2 l) substantially 20% of chord length l of the blade 2 in the wind mill rotor 1, faces the proximity of the rear end (T. E.) of the wind receiving surface 2b of the blade, has tilting angle θ to the wind receiving surface side set at substantially 45-60 degrees, and tilts like an eaves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
