PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP communication terminal that can be connected with automatic dialing to a destination and has no limitation on the number of registration characters, and to provide an automatic dial registering method capable of connecting the IP communication terminal with automatic dialing. SOLUTION: In this IP communication terminal, when the automatic dial key is pressed down, an automatic dial managing means 14 can send a signal to a connection destination registered in an automatic dial table 16b. In the automatic dial table 16b, at least any of an IP address associated with an automatic dial number, an alias address and a telephone number is registered. With this automatic dial registering method, a user presses down an unregistered automatic dial key to inquire the alias address of a gate keeper after the end of speech communication, and associates the alias address with the automatic dial number to perform automatic dial registration.
