PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set for automatically determining a stimulation generating time on the basis of a stimulation setting time and external information. SOLUTION: This telephone set 1 for generating stimulation such as voice comprises a setting time inputting part 3 for inputting a stimulation setting time, an external information acquiring part 5 for acquiring the external information such as weather information and traffic information from an information network 4 such as the Internet, a generation time determining part 6 for determining a stimulation generating time on the basis of the stimulation setting time and the acquired external information, and a stimulation generating part 7 for generating stimulation at the determined stimulation generating time.
