PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coma aberration adjustment device for an optical pickup unit in which a uniform quality is kept, and also a productivity is improved. SOLUTION: The coma aberration adjusting device comprises an optical pickup main body having an optical diode and an actuator to which an objective lens converging a beam generated from the optical diode to a recording medium is attached. Further, the unit comprises a main body supporting unit supporting an optical pickup main body attachably and detachably, a grasping unit grasping the actuator attachably and detachably, an optical system provided so that a beam of the optical diode emitted through the objective lens of the actuator grasped by the grasping unit is expanded and photographed, a driving part having a drive motor for adjusting a position of the actuator for the optical pickup main body, and a control part controlling the driving part using a picture indicated by the optical system so that coma aberration is not caused in the objective lens by a beam of the optical diode.
