PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed rotating apparatus capable of solving a problem of reduction of oil for lubrication by an operation and automatically returning oil trap to an oil tank. SOLUTION: The oil trap OT is interposed in an exhaust pipe 8 before a vacuum pump VP, but a porous oil filter OF is disposed in a gas flow channel. A recovery passage 9 is connected to the bottom of the oil trap OT. The other end of the recovery passage 9 is connected to the bottom of the oil tank 1Y disposed in the lower section of a housing 1. Therefore, trapped oil mist flows down from the bottom of the oil trap OT through the recovery passage 9 and flows out to the oil tank 1Y. A level of oil surface is indicated in a part of the recovery passage 9 and at the same position as the oil tank 1Y, and a measuring section MG for measuring oil amount is disposed in the part of the recovery passage 9.
