PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camshaft capable of realizing stable supply of lubricating oil to a sliding surface with a simpler structure. SOLUTION: A protrusion 14 protruding to an inner periphery of a lubricating oil passage 12 is formed integrally with the camshaft 10, and an opening of an oil hole 13 for the lubricating oil passage 12 is formed on the top of the protrusion 14, thus restraining sludge deposited on the inner periphery of the lubricating oil passage 12 from entering the oil hole 13.
