PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide assembly that does not require work to insert a roller into a roller holder in a slide rail assembly where a platy part of a roller holder is placed between facing wall surfaces of a lower rail and an upper rail and a plurality of rollers are supported turnably, each of which is abutted by the facing wall surfaces of the rails respectively, within a roller holding hole formed in the platy part. SOLUTION: A roller and a roller holder are integrally formed of synthetic resin materials or metal materials in a manner that at least one axial end surface of the roller and the roller holding hole edge of a platy part are coupled with each other, and the coupling strength of the coupled portion is so set that the roller is detached from the roller holder when a turning force is applied to the roller.
