PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce effects of registration displacement after an adjustment due to a temperature rise. SOLUTION: A recording device forms images onto a recording medium with the use of a recording head where a plurality of recording elements are arranged, by scanning the recording head in a direction different from an arrangement direction of the plurality of recording elements. Rasters of revision images are each sorted to at least two raster groups by a driving state of the plurality of recording elements. In a recording position adjustment method to the recording device for adjusting a recording position by the plurality of recording elements between at least two raster groups, an adjustment value determined by an adjusting means is shifted by a set value, and the adjustment value is used.
