PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for sorting grains automatically, which can supply only excellent grains to a user of the apparatus by removing poor and unnecessary grains such as discolored ones from the grains such as polished rice, unpolished rice and beans. SOLUTION: This apparatus 10 for sorting grains automatically is provided with a feed hopper 14 arranged in an operation room 12A and a color sorter 38 arranged in a machine room 12B. The sorter 38 is constituted so that whether thrown polished rice H is poor or whether the poor polished rice is contained in the rice H is discriminated, the poor polished rice is sorted and removed, only the excellent polished rice is sent to a storage tank 26 and packed in a bag 27 and the polished rice-packed bag is supplied to the user of the apparatus 10.
