PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method for enabling the provision origin of advertisements to know to what extent the purchase of merchandise associated with advertisements or the use of a service has been actually conducted by the viewer of the advertisements.

SOLUTION: A server device 12 transmits advertisement data CM and incentive data INS to terminal equipment 13. When the advertisements are viewed, the incentive data INS are written in a portable memory MEM. A portable memory MEM owned by the viewer is read by terminal equipment 15 in a store, and predetermined discounts or the like are applied. The terminal equipment 15 transmits purchase/use result data RSLT 2 specifying advertisement data CM corresponding to the incentive data INS to the server device 12.
