<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone resin composition for light emitting diode element which is excellent in transparency and from which a cured material that hardly causes color changes with lapse of time can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: This silicone resin composition contains (A) a silicone resin having an alkenyl group coupled with at least two silicon atoms in one molecule, (B) organohydrogen silane and/or organohydrogen polysiloxane having hydrogen atoms coupled with at least two silicon atoms in one molecule, and (C) an addition reaction catalyst as essential components. This composition yields a transparent cured material which is excellent in heat resistance and color fastness when the composition is used for protecting, sealing, or adhering a light emitting diode element, for changing/adjusting the wavelength of the element, or as the lens of the element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
