<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processing apparatus and method capable of reducing the burden on attendants, and enhancing the efficiency for processing card media. <P>SOLUTION: A card manufacturing unit 100 includes a magnetic processing part 102 for magnetically processing the card media conveyed along a path of conveyance; a verifying head 124 for detecting errors with the magnetic processing of the card media; a sensor S for sensing errors with the conveyance of the card media; and a CPU 200 which, upon detection of any of the errors, causes a display part of an operation unit to display a position on the path of conveyance where the card media exists, in a given color that matches the processed state of the card media. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
