<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control method, a current/voltage conversion circuit, and an electronic device capable of reducing the power consumption of the current/voltage conversion circuit or standby power to zero, if the electronic device to which the current/voltage conversion circuit is connected is in a standby state or stopped, related to the current/voltage conversion circuit and the electronic device such as an AC adapter. <P>SOLUTION: In the power supply control method for the current/voltage conversion circuit comprising a transformer that converts input power and outputs it, the supply of power to the transformer is stopped if the output side of the current/voltage conversion circuit is in a no-load state, while the supply of power to the transformer is started if the output side of the current/voltage conversion circuit is applied with an external voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
