<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting/receiving a control message between a wireless network controller and user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system particularly for providing a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS). <P>SOLUTION: In the communication system for providing the MBMS, when control message to be transmitted to the UE desiring to receive the MBMS occurs, and when the is in a state of reception of the control information, paging message including information indicating the operation whether a response to the paging message received is to be transmitted is transmitted to the UE and thereafter, the control information corresponding to the paging information is transmitted, thereby minimizing interference and use of uplink resource. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
