<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-piece golf ball which has good ball-hitting feeling at the time of hitting the ball and which is excellent in excoriation resistance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-piece golf ball consists of a core, an intermediate layer for covering the core and a cover for covering the outside of the intermediate layer. The shore D hardness of the cover is lower than that of the intermediate layer inscribed in it, and the cover has at least five projecting parts entering inside of a core ball surface extending through it. It is preferable that the shore D hardness of the cover (Hc) is 15 to 70, and that the shore D hardness of the intermediate layer (Hi) inscribed in the cover is 40 to 75, and that the difference (Hi-Hc) therebetween is 3 to 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
