PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal examination method of a pipe joint with a plurality of O-rings capable of surely finding the failure in sealing only by the correspondence at an examination tool side without performing any work on a product itself, and coping with the pipe joint using the plurality of O-rings. SOLUTION: The plurality of O-rings 3<SB>1</SB>, 3<SB>2</SB>, .. are respectively fitted to accommodation grooves formed on an inner periphery of a female type fitting 2, and then inserted into the female type fitting 2, then a male type examination tool 8 provided with a hole for examination pressure 5 on at least one of positions corresponding to the front and back of the O-rings 3<SB>1</SB>, 3<SB>2</SB>, .. and an outside air introduction hole 6 on a position between the O-rings 3<SB>1</SB>, 3<SB>2</SB>..., is connected to apply the pressure, and the presence or absence of the leakage of the fluid from the outside air introduction hole 6 is confirmed. Preferably, the male type examination tool 8 provided with the hole for examination pressure 5B on a position between the O-ring 3<SB>2</SB>fitted in the accommodation groove 4 and an O-ring for valve 3<SB>3</SB>, is connected, when the female type fitting 2 having a valve mechanism 7 is inserted.
