PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image intensifier in which even if power supply input of I.I. power supply part is cut off, voltage can be supplied to the vacuum pump of an I.I. tube. SOLUTION: Power supply from the equipment is inputted into a power supply control circuit 20c of the power supply part 20, and the voltage is supplied from an electrode voltage supply circuit 20a to each electrode of the I.I. tube 15a, and the voltage is supplied from a vacuum pump power supply circuit 20b to a vacuum pump 10 of the I.I. tube 15a through a pump power supply switching circuit 20d. On the other hand, a battery 20f is charged by a charge control circuit 20e. Then, when the power supply from the equipment is cut off, the pump power supply switching circuit 20d is switched over, and power is supplied from the battery 20f to the vacuum pump power supply circuit 20d through the pump power supply switching circuit 20d, and voltage is imposed to the vacuum pump 10.
