PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that liquid droplets spread and a thin width pattern cannot be drawn, without adding a process of liquid repellency treatment. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a display panel in which a bus electrode 2b of a double layer structure made of a black layer 12 and a main electrode layer 13 is formed on a transparent electrode 2a formed on a substrate 1, in a first process of the bus electrode formation process, a black material layer (black layer 12) having water repellency action is pattern formed on the transparent electrode 2a and dried, and in a second process, the main electrode material layer (main electrode layer 13) is pattern formed on the dried black material layer by an ink-jet method, and in a third process, the black material layer and the main electrode material layer are simultaneously baked.
