PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leakage of magnetic flux by easily and electrically grounding to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: This generator is provided with a magnet 12 rotating together with a roller 15, an iron core 42 and a coil 20 having one end connected to the iron core 42 and the other end connected to an output terminal 38 within a dynamo case 1 for projecting the roller 15 from an upper end. The dynamo case 1 is supported to be freely erectable, an iron dynamo holder 39 for attaching and separating the roller 15 to/from a tire of the bicycle and the dynamo case 1 are connected by a connecting plate 27 of a non-magnetic body, and the connecting plate 27 is allowed to abut on the iron core 42 to electrically ground one end side of the coil 20 to the vehicle body. By making the connecting plate 27 as the non-magnetic body, grounding to the vehicle body can be performed via the connecting plate 27 in contact with the iron core 42, leakage of the magnetic flux passing through the iron core 42 to the connecting plate 27 can be prevented, and an output of power generation can be improved.
