PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel gunstock pad applicable to a gun such as a hunting gun or a shooting gun having any type of gunstock, having improved impact/vibration absorbing performance at shooting. SOLUTION: The gunstock pad 1 to be detachably mounted on an end face 12a of a gunstock portion of a gun 11 having the gunstock portion 12 comprises a base member 2 of a hard material for abutting on the end face of the gunstock portion and a vibration damping member 3 of a damping material to be fixed to the base member. The base member is formed of a hard rubber and the vibration damping member is formed of a low repulsive damping rubber material having low repulsion and superior impact/vibration absorptivity.
