PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate rotational backlash of a fixed type constant velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: In this rotational backlash of a fixed type constant velocity universal joint comprising an outer ring 1 having a spherical inner surface 1b with a plurality of track grooves 1a, an inner ring 2 having a spherical outer surface 2b with a plurality of track grooves 2a, a wedge-shaped ball track which is gradually reduced in size from one side to the other of the axis of a joint formed of a pair of the track grooves 1a of the outer ring 1 and the track grooves 2a of the inner ring 2, one torque transmission ball 3 built in each ball track, and a holder 4 having a pocket 4a to hold the torque transmission ball 3, the torque transmission ball 3 is constantly abutted on the track groove 1a of the outer ring 1 and the track groove 2a of the inner ring 2.
