The transmission has a variable gear (A) sliding on a central axis along a conical interior integrated with a cap plate (5) of a epicyclical gear and driving a planet carrier (4) by an intermediate gear. A slight variation of the gear (A) provides a wide range of speed ratio between a planetary (2) and the carrier. The gear has a central wheel (21) that turns along a gear axis and maintains teeth (20) at a constant radius. The flanges turn along a variable axis and the teeth slide on a radial groove. The de-centering of two lateral flanges maximizes or minimizes spacing between the teeth.
