PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately measuring the bilirubin non-δfraction in a specimen by using bilirubin oxidase and a reagent therefor and to provide a method for calculating a variety of bilirubin fractions, e.g.,δ-bilirubin, non-conjugated bilirubin or the like from the difference between the measured values and the whole bilirubin measured value or from the difference between the measured value and the conjugated bilirubin measured value. SOLUTION: The bilirubin non-δ-fraction in specimens can accurately be measured by allowing bilirubin oxidase to react with the specimens at a pH of 6-11 in the presence of at least one selected from the group consisting of aromatic sulfonic acids, aromatic carboxylic acids, phenyl phosphoric acids and bile acids, preferably further in the addition of anionic surfactant.
