<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for floor planning by a computer, a storage medium and a program that substantially reduce labor and time required for selling a dwelling unit of a multiple dwelling house, and makes floor planning conveniently and effectively. <P>SOLUTION: A computer equipped with a storage unit that stores a program in which contents of processing by the computer are defined prompts an operator to input room constituting requirements such as the number of Japanese-style rooms, a room style, room layout requirements on a layout of each room of the dwelling unit, and room connection requirements on circulation of each room. Based on the inputted room constituting requirements, room layout requirements, and room connection requirements, the computer draws up a room distribution plan giving room attributes to each squared cell of a squared-shaped room layout frame consisting of nine squared cells aligned in at least 3 tiers×3 rows, scales down the circumference of the room layout frame of the room distribution plan to the outline dimension ratio of the dwelling unit, and also draws up a floor plan by proportionately dividing the area ratio of each squared cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
