<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress overshoot following the start-up of an engine in spite of simple structure without needing to enlarge the capacity of a battery, to add a capacitor, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: When an engine restarting command is inputted (S100), a motor generator is operated in a power running mode to initiate the start-up of the engine (S110). Upon detecting the start-up completion of the engine (S160), the motor generator is operated in a power generation mode (S172). The generating voltage of the motor generator in the power generation mode is set to a voltage value higher than a voltage value in normal power generation, or the field current of the motor generator is set to a high current value higher than a current value in normal power generation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
