PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization and reduction in cost of a DC voltage converter. SOLUTION: Two arms 10, 12 are connected in parallel between a high voltage side terminal 22 and a low voltage side terminal 24. An auxiliary commutation circuit 18, which is provided with an auxiliary switch Sw5 and an auxiliary coil L3 connected serially between an intermediate point 14 of the arm 10 and an intermediate point 16 of the arm 12, and a capacitor C1 connected in parallel with the auxiliary switch Sw5 and the auxiliary coil L3, is provided. It is sufficient to provide the small-sized capacitor C1 for setting a voltage between the intermediate point 14 and the intermediate point 16 in order to execute soft switching in the constitution.
