PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debug method and system for confirming reproduction from a status having reproductivity with high probability, and for reducing the load of the debug operation of a programmer by analyzing dump somewhat prior to the generation of any failure. SOLUTION: When a branch instruction is generated while a test program to be tested is being executed, a program counter is acquired. It is recognized that the test program has been executed from the branch instruction to the next branch instruction, and the execution pattern of an operation program is learnt by managing the history of the number of times of execution of the program, and when any transition history to the destination of branch different from the execution pattern is not present, or when it is the minimum compared with the other transition destinations, it is recognized that the generation of any failure is likely to be generated. The difference information of dumps is acquired, and when any failure is actually generated, the dump information somewhat prior to the generation of any failure may be provided.
