LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display of high performance whose configuration and manufacture are simple and cost can be reduced and wherein presence of an alignment layer on the liquid crystal side of a substrate is not needed. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display having a liquid crystal panel structure comprising a pair of substrates disposed opposite to each other and a liquid crystal encapsulated between the substrates, a resin layer having a network structure formed by curing of a curing resin containing a monofunctional monomer and a multifunctional monomer intervenes at the interface between the liquid crystal and a liquid crystal panel constituent.
