PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the forward end part even of a large size roll sheet can be carried easily. SOLUTION: On the upstream side of a feed roller 26 in the carrying direction, a roll sheet carrying section 110 for carrying a roll sheet 12 while pinching the forward end part 12a thereof is disposed. Consequently, even a roll sheet 12 having a wide width (length in the direction perpendicular to the carrying direction) can be carried easily while pinching the forward end part 12a thereof by means of an endless belt 118 at the roll sheet carrying section 110 and a pinching plate 120. Consequently, troublesome operation is not required even when the forward end part 12a of a wide roll sheet 12 is carried and the roll sheet 12 can be carried surely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
