PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant husbandry machine performing a good straight travel of the machine body in its straight working by regulating the horizontal rotation of a resisting rod 12, performing a smooth machine body revolution by making the resisting rod 12 as freely rotatable to minimize the effect of the resistance by the resisting rod 12 on revolving the machine body, for improving its working properties in various works by making the regulation and release of the regulation of the resisting rod 12 easy for improving the working properties. SOLUTION: This plant husbandry machine equipped with the resisting rod 12 at the hitch 11 of the rear part of the machine body is provided by joining the resisting rod 12 with the hitch 13 through a hitch pin 13 as freely and horizontally rotatable, also joining a locking member 23 with a holder 14 holding the resisting rod 12 through a supporting shaft 22 as freely shaking and performing the regulation and release of the regulation of the horizontal rotation of the resisting rod 12 by making the locking member 23 in contact with the hitch 11 and by releasing the contact with it by the shaking operation of the locking member 23.
