PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder for livestock in which a feed in a feed hopper causes no bridge phenomenon, smoothly falls on a bottom tray, has simple structure and requires no manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The feeder 1 for livestock has constitution that a bridge preventing member 4 which is rotatable and exhibits an inverted truncated cone shape is arranged in the vicinity of an opening at the bottom part in the feed hopper 2 and a narrow gap D is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the bridge preventing member 4 and the inner wall surface of the feed hopper 2. When a baby pig rotates an operation number 6 by its snout or mouth, the bridge preventing member 4 is also rotated, the feed (a) in the vicinity of the top of the bridge preventing member 4 is stirred not to form a nest at the central part of the feed hopper 2 and the feed (a) smoothly falls from the gap D without causing a bridge.
