PURPOSE: A fishing float, having a changeable size and shape, is provided to change the size and the shape of the fishing float just with aid of a simple manipulation. CONSTITUTION: The fishing float, which is installed in the fishing line when angling, includes: an outer cover body(1), having a longitudinally penetrated containing portion and a slit, extended form the outside up to the containing portion in the longitudinal direction; a fishline catching body(2), contained into the plane in the diametral direction inside the containing portion, and having a penetration hole, penetrating the neighbored portion of the center in the diametral direction, and a slit, extended from the outside up to the penetration hole in the longitudinal direction, so that the catching body(2) has an elasticity when the penetration hole is compressed; a pressure regulating unit, regulating the pressure of the penetration hole; and a spare fishing float body(3).
