<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum display device capable of easily positioning the rear side of a mechanism body. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary drum display device has a plurality of symbol display mechanisms 1 with a symbol display body 2 to be driven to rotate by a driving source attached to the mechanism body 71, juxtaposed inside a device body 92 whose front is open. The mechanism body has detachable parts upward and downward (upper and lower front mechanism attaching parts 71d and 71b). The mechanism body 71 is detachable from the front opening side of the device body 92 independently of the device body 92 at the detachable part. Device body side positioning engagement parts (a positioning hole 102 and an engagement piece 95) are mounted on the rear of the device body 92 corresponding to each mechanism body 71, and mechanism body side positioning engagement parts (a rear mechanism positioning projection 71x and an upper rear mechanism positioning attaching part 71e) are mounted on the rear side of the mechanism body.
