SILOXANE RESIN POROUS MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily producing a siloxane resin porous body having closed vacant holes without requiring an additive material, controlled composition or production conditions for forming the porous body. SOLUTION: The method for producing the siloxane resin porous body comprises heating a composition comprising a siloxane resin obtained by partially hydrolyzing and condensing a compound represented by R1nSiX(4-n)(wherein R1is an alkyl group or the like; X is a hydrolyzable group; and n is an integer of 0-2) and a solvent for dissolving the siloxane resin at 30-150°C and further heating the composition at≥400°C.
