PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain clear copying to capture information of material of a spread of a book, thick material and material in the size of a small postcard without distortion by using a hand copy, a hand FAX and a hand scanner and to save ink consumption. SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool to be used for copying and capturing information utilizes the characteristics of a laminated and reinforced glass plate or a transparent acrylic plate. A frame 4 is provided to the left end of the transparent plate and a guideline for the hand copy, hand FAX and hand scanner is provided thereon. Further, frames 1, 2, 3, 4 are provided with scaling indicators serving as yardsticks when sliding the hand copy, the hand FAX and the hand scanner on the transparent plate, and the auxiliary tool is equipped with light shielding frames 1, 2, 3, 4.
