PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily determine an appropriate ratio between rice and water for cooking. SOLUTION: A measuring cup 1 is provided with an intermediate bottom 2 so as to be a double-bottomed measuring cup. Rice is measured with a volumetric capacity ranging from the upper part to the intermediate bottom 2 of the measuring cup main body 1, and then put into a rice cooker. Next, the measuring cup main body 1 is filled with water through the intermediate bottom 2, and the water volume obtained thereby is appropriate in the ratio to the rice measured in advance.
