PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector in which a receptacle outer case and a plug outer case can be formed in good precision by a reasonable forming means ad a sufficient waterproof performance and durability performance are provided. SOLUTION: An engagement protrusion 23 and an engagement recess 33 which can mutually be engaged are respectively provided at the top end of a receptacle outer case 22 and a plug outer case 32 of a waterproof connector 1a. A plurality of projections 25 are formed on the outer circumference of the engagement protrusion 23 so as to be continuing in cross-sectionally serration form. Then, the portion of the inner circumference of the engagement recess 33 where the top portion of each projection 25 is engaged is made as a shape continuing with a plurality of cylindrical parts 34, and the inner diameter of these cylindrical parts 34 is formed larger in the top end part than that of the deep part.
